Spoiler-free review
Son of Sardaar 2 benefited from the very low expectations created by nearly everyone else disliking it. The plot is needlessly convoluted and its happy resolution requires a heroic suspension of disbelief, but the main cast is likable, the songs are fun and the movie remains cheerful enough to function as an evening’s diversion. This is not high cinema and does not pretend to be. Take your elders, enjoy the music and allow plausibility to wait outside the theater.

No one on here seems to like this one very much, so I had very low expectations. But i like this. I thought it was fun and diverting. The plot was unnecessarily convoluted and the resolution requires an extreme suspension of disbelief, but the main cast is likable, the songs are fun and you get a happy, albeit implausible, ending. It's not high cinema, but take your elders out for an evening, they'll like this.
