Spoiler-free review
Sirāt reaches a moment when restraint, negotiation and softer possibilities have apparently left the building. A woman makes her position unmistakably clear, and the film answers with bleak, explosive finality. My reaction landed somewhere between weary recognition and genuine dismay: 😮💨 followed immediately by 😕. Saying more would explain the very turn the review should preserve. The movie makes its choice. So it was.
