Spoiler-free review

Two Sleepy People gets a great deal from a modest budget: an excellent story, persuasive performances and two charismatic leads who make an intimate premise feel complete. Its dreamscape offers the appealing possibility that years of childhood trauma might be worked out with your work spouse while asleep, avoiding all that expensive and inconvenient counseling. Most of us would choose that plan if available. πŸ˜† The concept is playful, but the acting gives it emotional credibility, and I enjoyed the movie far more than its scale suggested I might.

Excellent. Good story, excellent acting, charismatic lead actors doing good work on a modest budget. Really, really, enjoyed this.

Not to spoil it…

But really, why spend years in counseling when you can work out your childhood trauma with your work spouse in your dreamscape? I think we'd all opt to do it this way if we had a choice.πŸ˜†
